Explore Your God-Given Talents
February 10, February 24, March 10 and March 24.
In 2019, middle school and high school youth will meet for Sunday school in February and March on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Pastor Karn will help the youth understand their top Talents as assessed by a tool called StrengthsFinder. Each youth will be celebrated for who they are and begin to understand how they can use their gifts for good in the world. All youth who want to participate must take an online assessment. They will be able to take the assessment after church on January 6 or at home. Please speak with Pastor Karn with any questions and let her know if you or your student will be participating. This is appropriate for youth ages 12-18.
Contact Pastor Karn for questions and to receive a code with instructions for taking the assessment.

Quake events are weekend retreats created specifically for youth in grades 6-12. Since 1966, Quake events have been hosted at hotels and water parks across the country. Quake partners with youth leaders to encourage teens to become established in their faith, empowered for Christian living and enabled to live a life of ministry and leadership. The 2019 Quake theme is Diverge. To live a life of Christ, we need to diverge from the ordinary roads of this world to follow the extraordinary path He created for us.
Quakes are a high energy, inspirational, and Christ-centered weekend for youth. Topics presented during the Celebration & Worship times helped youth apply the Gospel message to their everyday lives and equipped them to meet real challenges that they face. It is a great weekend to grow in faith and in relationships with each other.
Registration is now open. Interested? Speak with Pastor Karn
Toddlers Welcome in Worship
What a wonderful thing that we have toddlers in worship each week. In order to help our littlest guests feel welcome, there are some baskets of age appropriate toys in the back row of the sanctuary. Parents and grandparents, please let your toddler use them, they are active, growing children of God! Anti-Bacterial wipes are provided for a quick clean up after use.
The rest of us, please keep an eye out for the children and their toys. If their busyness is distracting for you, you are encouraged to move towards the front and center of the worship space.
Serve Pancakes at Grace- May 19

Grace is now officially certified by Maricopa County to serve food to the public! This means they are wanting as many helpers as possible to get a Food Employee Certificate (formerly a Food Handlers Card). The card can be obtained for only $8.00 and it is good for 3 years (for an extra $2.00 you can choose an option to be able to print out your card anytime during the 3 year period.) To take a simple test and receive your Food Employee Certificate go to http://www.azfoodhandlers.com/Register3.aspx.
